Treasurer Comments on Financial Report for December, 2025
1. It was a very good month financially for the club with revenues exceeding expenses by just over
$62,000
 For the season to date since September, this puts the club back into a profit position of
just over $17,000
 This is approximately $8,000 better than budgeted for the season to date.
 Balances in Chase Bank and PayPal as of Dec. 31 amounted to $542,174.
2. The major revenue item during December was league fees, which brought in just over $58,000
 This brings the season to date total to just under $79,000
 This amount is almost $2,000 more than the same period last season.
 This is also approximately $18,000 better than budgeted for the season so far.
3. Entry fees of $9,000 for the Golden Wrench were collected in December
 All entry fees will be paid out as prize money.
 Total payout is planned to be $16,000
4. The club received $6,720 from MOPAC for hosting the women’s and men’s playdowns in
December.
5. Learn to Curl and Corporate Events generated $9,500 in fees during the month.
 For the season to date, almost $29,000 has been collected.
 This is approximately $6,000 better than budgeted and just a bit below last season to
this point.
6. Bar & Merchandise sales were just over $4,000 for December.
 Season to date sales of just over $20,500 are approximately $5,700 less than budget and
just under $2,500 less than last season at this point.
7. The cost for electrical power during the Nov. 13 to Dec. 12 period was $1,281
 This is a significant decline from earlier months this season. The prior month’s cost was
just over $3,600.
 Last season for the same period, the cost of electricity was $2,043.
8. During December, club fees of $2,835 were paid to the USCA and $515 to the USWCA
 Total USCA club dues paid so far this season total $6,480.
 This is approximately $500 more than last season to date.
